Norman Foster's amazing bridge takes you from St.Paul's Cathedral over to the Tate Modern. You can get into St.Paul's free by joining a church service and most of the exhibitions in the Tate are free. Try the cafe on the 7th floor of the Tate...the views are amazing. Also there's a free night of art/ music on the first Friday every month that is worth going to when the gallery opens til late.
