You're walking along admiring the fashion on show when past you strolls a brass band.  Yes, that'll happen this Fri15 Feb at the National Portrait Gallery when the Mardi Brass band plays for free in the galleries.  Just turn up and find them as they walk around from 18:30 - 22:00:

'Edward Maxwell and Richard Hammond (trumpet), Jonathan Hassan (french horn), Adam Woolf (trombone) and Jeff Miller (tuba) play music by Purcell, Rameau, Warlockand Maxwell.'


Then there's Friday Lates at the V&A Museum on 29 Feb, a free night with theatre designers creating performances and light shows. Lots of fun with a bar open until 10pm for exploring the gallery at night.  Enjoy!
